PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The assignment was to choose an existing restaurant in need of rebranding and create a new visual identity for it.

DESIGN GOALS

El Olivo is a tapas bar/restaurant in Stockholm, Sweden. The restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine and the restaurant feels warm and inviting, almost as if you were actually on holiday. I wanted to bring this warm Mediterranean feeling to the visual identity. The logotype is inspired by the Spanish tiles in the restaurant and incorporates a sun as well as olives to illustrate the name of the restaurant. The color scheme gives off a warm and friendly vibe while looking modern.
